The Scuba Diver certification opens the door on the underwater world, and bridges the gap between a Discover Scuba Dive and the Open Water Diver course, that is considered the most popular, first level, diving course.
During the course you’ll cover theoretical and practical skills related to topics such as buoyancy (including comfortable and safe ascents and descents), buddy diving techniques, solving common problems underwater, boat diving and others.
Scuba Divers are qualified to dive under the direct supervision of a PADI Professional to a maximum depth of 12 metres / 40 feet. Take your Scuba Diver certification in 2 days and with a few additional dives make the jump to Open Water Diver certification.
The PADI Scuba Diver course lasts 2-3 days and constitutes half of the PADI Open Water Diver course. Completing your Scuba Diver certification gives you the choice, with a few additional dives, to pursue the Open Water Diver certification.
The course includes:
- 3 dives in confined waters
- 2 dives in open water
- Basic diving theory
- Written examinations or completion of the e-learning online.
After the course you will be qualified to dive to a maximum depth of 12 metres when accompanied by professional divers or your instructor.
E-learning time commitment: 2-5 hours
